The Best Places to Propose on the Blue Ridge Parkway in Asheville, North Carolina

Are you looking to propose and get engaged to the love of your life in the mountains of North Carolina? If so, you've come to the right place! In this blog post I've put together some of the best locations to pop the BIG question along the Blue Ridge Parkway in Asheville, North Carolina. Please note these are no the only spots, however, they are among the top of my list when suggesting locations to my couples.
In case you're new around here I'm Deanna, a portrait photographer serving couples in Western North Carolina! The Blue Ridge Parkway is one of my absolute favorite places to not only visit and explore on my own personal time, but also a place where I can document the special, milestone moments in my couples' relationship.
Proposals are by far one of the most exciting and fun moments I enjoy capturing! Hiring a professional photographer who knows the area where you plan to propose is super important AND helpful. The Blue Ridge Parkway is full of epic locations with beautiful views, landscapes, and scenery for all leveled hikers. No matter what season or time of year you plan to propose, the BRP will never disappoint.

1. Rough Ridge Trail
2. Chestoa Overlook
3. Craggy Pinnacle
4. Beacon Heights Trail
All of the hikes and locations that I listed on this blog post today ARE pet friendly (yay)! If you do with to bring your furry friend(s) along for the fun, they must be kept on a leash. Although I did not list every single location along the Blue Ridge Parkway, these are among my top favorite to propose if you want a stunning backdrop and an easy-moderate/shorter hike!
